Klauke UK Ltd formerly Utilux (UK) Limited falls under the industrial sector of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) headed by Greenlee. In July 2008 we became part of Greenlee, Textron having originally been established in Bungay, Suffolk, England in 1972. We now fall under the management of Klauke GmbH which started as a family business in 1879 in Remscheid Germany and has become a market leader in Electrical connection products before being bought by Textron in 1996.

• We operate a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of the BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 standard and is registered with the British Standard Institute (BSI), under certificate number FM 09860 (Certificate and Scope) for:

• The manufacture and distribution of terminals, connectors, wiring systems, application equipment and relevant accessories for the white goods, domestic appliances, motor vehicles and other industries.

• The majority of tabs and receptacles are manufactured to comply with the requirements of BS5057: 1992/IEC60760: 1989 (specification for flat quick-connect terminations). This standard is similar to Australian AS, American NEMA and DIN standards. For many years our products have been widely used in BEAB approved equipment and appliances conforming to BS3456 (BS60335) – Safety of household and similar electrical appliances.
